Since everyone is a DJ.... (pg. 4)

Hey Marcus,

yesterday was a diva singing by the pool kinda day so I decided to give it another shot.

Good job man ;-) I like it, really. For real.

But the title of the topic still tickles me off.

Krinker: Wow... Krinker said something... POSITIVE? WOAAAAAHHH!!! All kidding aside, thank you very much for giving my mix a go. Now that I feel comfortable with the technical side of DJing (mixing, beat matching) my next step is to focus more on flow and programming. I believe that what makes a good DJ is not his technical merits but more how he connects each song to one another to create a flow. This is something that I feel only experience can teach. So I hope as I continue to practice and play gigs I'll learn more about flow and more importantly, how to build a set that brings the listener on a journey.

Creator: I'm happy you gave it another go. Thank you very much. I was a lil disappointed when you first told me it was a lil too high on your funk level. But nonetheless, I appreciate the second listen and the supportive comments.

And concerning the title, it's a joke based on everyone sharing their mixes on TA. I think this is a great thing about TA, the ability to share a piece of art that the creator (excuse my pun) has poured so many hours into. But, as I'm sure you know, there's a big difference between both sides of the dj spectrum.

don't forget to take off the shirt Mr Marcus Mancakes. Take your shirt off, strike the pose and clap if you have to.

And if you're not manlicious but fugly instead wear a mousehead :)
