Examples: Metallica, The Rolling Stones, U2, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, R.E.M etc..
I picked long-term bands that may, or may not, have overstayed their welcome.
Have at it.
(For clarification's sake, I only included bands that have been around for a long time, that sell well, and that, well...I am familiar with) |

Any band where the members are over 60.
Face it, you aren't able to do what you used to do in the 70's. Its just embarassing. Please stop. |

The Cure will always hold a place in my heart but yes he looks ridiculous.
I can understand if your life is music that you'd continue as long as possible. But the problem is with the bands whose music/performances primary appeal was for teenagers, that has long since gone out of fashion. |
