I'm pretty Catholic and I find it funny not offensive. My guess is you'd be suprised how many Catholics wouldn't be offended by that.

I would indeed be surprised. I don't know all too many devout catholics, but a lot of the baptists and lutherans I know get really offended by any type of mocking directed towards their god and or religion.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, a lot would; however, it seems (here anyway) most of us want to ensure that the problem be rooted out and the victims provided with whatever help they require. If satyre of this sort (well done and genuinely funny) helps then great! The only thing I find a little offensive about it is that it makes light of something that is very painful for some; but most comedy does.
edit; I also find that most RCs tend to have a thicker skin about these sort of things then the evangelicals; however, that's entirely antecdotal... I got nothing to back that up.
