Usually, I'm working on music (listening) while I'm writing. Tonight I'm between tracks and not tired (even though I worked my ass off, today). I'm stone-cold sober - occasional weed over the past two-and-a-half years and no booze since 2002.
It's a savant skill. I had an IQ test, when I was drinking rather heavily, which indicated my facility with the English language was better than 65% of people who have successfully completed graduate school. I was working as a cook, in a restaurant, at the time - no college.
Bored? Probably. It just happens without putting too much thought into it.

No booze since 2002??? I think I may have killed myself, along with many others, by now :p It would have been spectacular :o

Booze just got to a point where, in some odd moment of lucidity, it became abundantly clear that its ethereally deadening and somewhat opiate comfort had this peculiar dint of unpredictable chaos, to it.
The entire forum has quite a few good writers, here. JennyPie, System-J, Woscar, Theresa, PKC, you, and a few others tend to hold my attention. I'll ignore the ********/Maige/osterzone/Kismet 7 posts but read when it gets bumped by one of you. |
