Alright, It sounds like you found the one you're looking for. The only thing I suggest is NOT buying it at newegg. Their return policy for dead-pixels or other monitor defects are atrocious.

Newegg Return Policy
The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise being returned to you:
Any LCD screen that has less than 8 dead pixels

In my opinion, 1 dead pixel is unacceptable let alone 7.

ive been reading the reviews of the LG one and supposedly the text gets quite fuzzy.. i will do some coding on it and it is unacceptable.

Im about to give up and just buy a pc monitor

Yeah the difference between TV's & Monitors comes down to Pixel pitch. TV's are meant to be viewed from a distance, so each individual pixel is larger. The issue with that is up-close viewing.

Monitors are meant to be viewed from a relatively close distance, so each individual pixel on monitor is quite a bit smaller.

That's why you can find LCD monitors with the capability to do 1920x1080 resolution in a size that you won't find TV's capable of (Well, now you can find smaller TV's capable of 1080p, but at first that resolution was only available to much larger sizes).

The only problem I have gaming on my TV is when games have tiny font.

im leaning more towards the Samsumg one, ive read it is a fine monitor..

I think im buying that one

mine's older and smaller. I used it as a tv/monitor for a few months, too, and it worked great. I still say go look at them in a store.

I live in the dominican republic, and actually, the selection for TVs and Monitors here is awful.. most stores carry 10-15 ty models and EXPENSIVE as hell. a 32' vizio would cost around 1200 here

shaw
:wtf:

the only reason people buy vizios here is that they're cheap. that defeats the entire purpose.
Ivand
lol, but those are 'cheap', mid-end sonys and samsung costs around 2k here
