Try the Saudi Arabian method - chopping off the hand that stole the item. No wonder they tell the tourists not to worry about losing stuff - you can leave your laptop in the car, unlocked, in the middle of Riyadh (the capital) and you dont have to worry about it getting stolen.

Wow you really hate Saudi! I've lived there before and it's not that bad.. at least Jeddah's not as bad as Riyadh. It's actually a good city to love in.. it's quite modern.. it attracts plenty of foreigners.. nice beaches.. great food.. a lot less conservative than the rest of Saudi. I wouldn't live there again.. but from my experience there.. I can tell you it's not as bad as people make it seem. Back to the hand issue.. you only get your hand chopped off if it's a serious offense.. such as robbing somebody's house. It is a harsh punishment.. but one shouldn't steal in the first place.

Nice video! I can't stand thieves.

lol

The cops here wouldn't help you, so why would the pansy citizens? Speaking from personal experience anyway...

Toronto shopkeeper David Chen is not amused.
