Is most of trance in the public domain?

I want to post a video with some trance in the background on facebook, but facebook is notorious for removing videos with background music due to copyright infringements.
Is there a good way to check which trance songs are copyrighted or not? I don't want to put it on youtube because I can't tag my friends |

For some reason I thought most of it was in public domain. or maybe somehow I got the impression the artists didn't care much |

youtube is ok
facebook is very strict. they removed one of my videos a while back that had some alternative music |

I'm not sure why you would think it would be in the public domain o.o
For the most part youtube won't take down videos, unless it's a song from Armada or someone who likes to flex their legal muscles. Most other labels and artists don't mind.
I don't know about facebook. |

If you are making a homemade video for noncommercial purposes you are welcome to use music released under such a licence as long as you provide credit and a link back to the original work.
