Yeah when I told my Mum she was like - ukraine whats that?
response: are you stupid?
Yeah it would start in september....
need to research to see how much internet costs over there, as it would override my fall term and potentially the total year. Other than DE courses.
very seriously considering this now. but almost feel like eastern europe may be a little over my head - re: outworldly otherworldly.
Anyone know anything about Kiev?
Are there any colleges or univerisities that offer instruction and testing in English tounge? |

| The fact that your mother is unable to discern the fact that you're stupid speaks volumes to the dysfunction in your relationship with her. For God's sake, the internet is the last thing you should be worried about. Maige does a far better job at establishing a functional reference point for utter mediocrity than you. Goodtime provides a wonderful counterpoint to sanity. The internet simply doesn't need you, anymore. |

| Highly qualified ukranian people such as doctors, etc, move over here to work in stuff like construction, because it pays better. Don't expect it to be a goldmine. |

Shut the up. You don't know what you're talking about. I have a friend in the Ukraine who is making fifty dollars an hour teaching English. The women, he says, are beautiful - and because the gender ratio is so tilted in men's favor, he has two or more girlfriends, at a time.
They might not have public chocolate milk fountains, yet, but they are working on it. They might call it the Ukraine, but it should be called Heaven! |

| Take the job and try it out. It will certainly be an experience and worst case scenario if you don't like it just quit and go somewhere else. Don't stop looking for other opportunities in the meantime tho. |

Ha, funny thing is the person who is doing the hiring is actually pretty damn attractive.
None the less I pretty much have accepted the position................................................
if it goes ahead I'll take my first trip to Europe the end of August............!!!!
and if it goes well probably experience winter in Ukraine.
And I was thinking I'd be in Del Carmen again starting in August about a month ago.
Anyway I'm online until the 8th most likely as I'm stuck in Kitchener until then - then back on the maybe the 16th until the 19th.. . Then I'll be gone....... up north for the summer - THEN if this stuff goes ahead....... Europe......... for who knows how long......
anyway...
I'm still seeking any info anyone has on Kiev or Ukraine.
I'm comfortable with it.. which is why I'm proceeding.... the context is just I feel really wierd due to the unexpected turn. |

| If you really want to know about Kiev and/or Ukraine, you should ask in TOTA. There are a few people from there...and I know that one girl is actually there right now. |

| True love won't wait for you until August! You should start walking, NOW! |
