It appears toronto is more or less "shut down" for 3 or so days within the zone. (25th to 28th?)
Just a heads up to anyone in Toronto to avoid this area (DOWNTOWN) unless you are protesting. Really bad events could happen to someone who is just casually observing - they set up a "medical trailer" with treatment cells for detained individuals to avoid bringing people to emergency rooms. In addition to the potentially instantaneous hearing loss from sound cannons - if based on previous major protests, there could be much hurt and pain, even for bystandards. BEWARE. "PRIVATE SECURITY - personnel are being hired in addition to other governmental paramilitary type forces eg. OPP, RCMP etc..

I find out friday if I'm in Southern Ontario.... ironically until the 30th.....
Oddly I will need to be in TO on the 26th and someone I know is headed to huntsville most likely - and I would just happen to be stuck in southern ontario with nothing to do the 24th, and 25th....
Anywho... it still may not even happen, I'll have to wait and see if it goes ahead... I was suppose to be headed up north on the 19th.. but now it appears I may end up atleast in TO on the last day of the G20, and I would then suppose have the oppourtunity to go to huntsville not planned.
None the less I am suppose to be headed in to Scarbourgh on the 26th not downtown... so I won't have to worry about sudden deafness onset from sound cannons. On the down side I need to figure out if the coach terminal and path/subway is shutdown on the 26th, and what alternate means i have to get to scarbourgh other than cab.
Appears only the south extent of the path is shutdown and the subway or coach terminals don't seem at all within the "actual" security perimiter - although I wouldn't be suprised to see police and military around the area on the 26th.

Who knows I could be up home if my stuff in TO doesn't occur on the week of the 20th.
