I lived it. The stress of playground sports can really deteriorate a man's soul |

Does anyone know at what point I'm allowed to start blowing my nose again? The doctor said not to blow, sneeze or touch it but it soon occurred to me after I left that he'd failed to mention how long for.
A google search has supplied a wealth of varying results ranging from 3 days to 2 weeks. If I can't blow my nose for 2 weeks I may stab someone. |
Believe it or not blowing your nose is not medically recommeneded ever. You should only squeeze or dab. |

can someone explain to me what it means im not good in english but i know everything there is to know about noosebleeding and there is nothing one can do. i started nosebleedin during exams last week lol. so much drama. its always worst in the spring. combination of stress, little sleep (because of the sun in north is up all the time), cold from temperatur-changes, and flower-dust in the air is a bad mix to me. i can tell when its about to happen. |
Most people who have nose bleeds have them because of an exposed blood vessel in the nose. Cauterization is a process where they essentially burn this area with acid causing it to close up. Stung like a mother er, even with a local anaesthetic.
Been alright today though. Nose hasn't been running so no need to blow it, and no nose bleed for the first time in 3 weeks. Mega. |

It's ing painfull after isn't it! I had this done about 10 years ago from getting daily nosebleeds, haven't had one since. Hurts for a couple of days but it definitely works well. |

Yeah it was really painful. Not to mention the whole of my face felt like it was aching like I'd be punched by Mike Tyson, especially around the jaw area. My doctor hadn't warned me about any of this. Thanks for that.
Apart from some freaky looking black coming out of my nose I've pretty much been alright today though. |

It was pretty painful for me. I had both nostrils done and remember the taste down the back of my throat was absolutely horrendous. The lecter nose oysters afterwards shocked me too. :p |
