Just added Kobyashi - Resistance to the cart, can't believe this gem eluded me for a long ass time. It still sounds fresh even now.

I found the first track of the Digweed 1997 Simon's set.

Wayne G - Twisted (Danny Tenaglia's 27th St. Dub)

https://www.discogs.com/Wayne-G-Twisted/release/517116

I couldn't actually find a sample online, but here is his club mix for proof:

obviously digweed plays a stripped down version of this, which must be that tenaglia dub.

Nice! Good job.

Yeah, it's a monster alright. That whole section of the mix is straight fire.

Here's the download link, if anyone else wants it. Not sure how many downloads WeTransfer allows, so hurry while stocks last! http://we.tl/TKpPLkG7cS

Anyway either you or someone else can provide another download link for this, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. The simons mix is what i am looking for.

what is the '27th' reference in dance music?

or is 'Killahurtz - West On 27th' just a coincidence?

The address for twilo in New York. Legendary club where Sasha and digweed had a residency.
rubez
awesome, thanks.

good to know... obviously i have heard of twilo.

West On 27th (A Tribe Called KHz Mix) is ing epic. that and Silvio Ecomo - Standing are the standard bearer for tribal bombs.
Kilixpree
lexicon avenue also have a track with 27th reference.
Floorfiller
yep pretty much. The address for the old Twilo club was 530 West 27th Street so anything referencing that is a Twilo reference.

Similarly anything that is a reference to King Street is a Paradise Garage reference (84 King Street). There are a lot of those as well.

"Paul Van Dyk - MF" from the Gainesville set, is this really a PVD track?
It seems that it was only played in this set.

SYSTEM-J
PVD recorded an entire album for MFS around 1997 that was never released due to contractual disputes. The only track that ever survived (to my knowledge) was Avenue, which cropped up in Sasha and Diggers' tracklists as early as '97 (as seen here) but didn't get an official release until 1999, when PVD allegedly re-created it from scratch to escape the copyright wrangling.

I've no idea if the track in this set is from that album, but that would explain why it's unknown anywhere else, and the "MF" title is probably a bastardisation of "MFS".
