Buggered Channel Fader ???

rite this happened a while ago, the right fader started 2 crackle, and now it does it all the time, and if i press on the right half of the channel fader (the plastic bit) the whole right output from that channel just dissapears.
so i took it 2 the shop 2day, where they sed it was prolly dust and cleaned it with some spray and i bought a can for 4 quid. and its done diddly squat :rolleyes:
any idea if it really is buggered and needs replacing ??? |

It probably is broke man
It happens to my faders all the time because I do alot of cutting and scratching and junk. Sometimes if I clean it, it fixes it a little bit but if the crackling still stays you probably need a new one.
New crossfaders are pretty cheap though at the shop I go to all cross faders are only like $25-$40 depending on the model. |

| You could try cleaning them with Contact clean, I did that with my mixer, worked great |
