so me and my buddy are kinda starting a promotion company thing, and we've got a few shows lined up already.
we're doing all sorts of music..but for this thread, i'll be talking about the RAP talent we've acquired.
So a few weeks ago, one of the rappers was just talking about his weekend with his buddies...and they get in a huge scrap, some hole club in Mississauga...but the guy knows' him personally and they both live in Brampton.
Probably not a big deal even if his face is on the flyer..w/e.
but now the stupid ing fool started another fight this weekend, with even more people IN THE EXACT SAME HOLE WHERE HE'S PREFORMING IN LESS THAN A MONTH.
What the hell is wrong with him?
The venue owner might even just kick him out when he gets there.
FFS.
can't wait till we're done with stupid hip hop. |

Either or both of those could be part of your problem, when you consider that under any performer's outward ambition for achievement is a strong current of attention seeking.
And, please, tell me you did a standard back-ground check on this person before you tied yourself to him. |

| Rap has to be by far the most retarded form of music there is, even more so than gabber, noisecore or any of that stuff. I'm sick of people telling me the lyrics are witty, intelligent, profound or that they speak volumes. No, they don't. The beats behind the music could be engineered by an eight year old and the people speaking over the top are ing idiots. Of course, there are a few exceptions to everything, but on the whole, my statement stands. The worst part isn't even the music either; it's the classless culture that surrounds it. |
