| I gave it a listen, but I didn't particularly enjoy it, unfortunately. It sounded too "happy", a slightly New Agey cheerfulness I couldn't get into. The technical side seemed fine, though. |

had this one on for the last few days, wow. what a mix.
this ranges everything from psybient to seagulls laughing in the blue skies. brilliant. mixing is superb, considering what you played, from the ambient paddy stuff to the loungy chillout, its excellent. the psychill you dump in this is gold. when i get to 24 minutes i am in a state of awesomeness. this should be in action flick or something.
56mins into the mix and im feeling very mellow yet energetic. its like taking benzos while on amphetamines...though that would probably render you useless  i feel that way.
this what you produce when someone requests a 'chillout' mix. it has everything, birds whistling the tune of summer, the death of winter and them loungey blues notes. like a fine wine, should be enjoyed in bulk.
splendid mixture here zip, look forward to the next upgrade :) |

| You really need to stop with these awful covers. They don't do good music any favours. |

:o
To be honest, I've never really liked to take a stock photo of a sunset or something and make it my mix cover, I've always liked making my own pictures. These were particularly awful because I couldn't really think of anything to make. Pay no attention to the covers on this one please. :)
Also, thanks for the awesome review, KilldaDJ, I don't really dig how some ambient takes the downtempo route and becomes boring and uninteresting, I really wanted to make Elemental Analysis chock full of atmosphere. I used samples of a rainforest, a thunderstorm, the beach, wind blowing, and fire crackling at the end so that I covered all my elemental bases :p I hope you listen to the second one, I think that one has a lot of interesting sound structures.
Thanks for the support, even if the mix covers are really ing stupid. |
