Hi. This is my second track that I have made. Had quite a lot issues while making it. It doesn't seem to have easily flowing melodic structure, but it more feels like that the melody parts are not thematicly together. Also had loads of issues with mixing; The mix became horrible muddy, and the main reason was due to arrengment, so I've been simplyfying the arrangment all the time, dropping some counter melodies etc...
If possible, I would love to hear critique about the mix (Too compressed? Too mid heavy? Lacking clarity? Not enough bottom?) as well as the arrangment of the song. To me it feels littlebit too scattered. I also think that I'll have to invent some new form of composing. This done in very similiar manner as my first track, starting to repeat myself. Anyways, all feedback wellcome! Thank you guys!

Oh yes, one of they key issues is the chorus. I was after more of on orchestral synth sound, rather than having deep focused synth lead on it. It first I layered stuff together, but it was way too unfocused. Now I have cut some of the sounds away, but do you guys think that the chorus is still too unfocused (Meaning, does it feel like chorus?)? |
