Is it really an Italian meal? If so, where is it traditional? Have you ever eaten it? |
My pet guido says that its call Frittata.
(She can't actually cook it... ) |

It's a common thing here in France (due to the proximity of Italy I think).
When you have some pasta left from past dinner, let them brown without butter/olive oil only 2 minutes, add 2/3 eggs with a bit of crème fraîche. Enjoy. |

I'm somewhat reluctant to accept its Frittata identity because it seems you can stuff pretty much anything in there. But, since pasta is one of the things stuffable in a frittata then, well, maybe it is a pasta Frittata

Cook pasta. Break eggs in a bowl. Put pasta in the bowl. Stir. Lay it on the fry pan. Turn it over.
Done :conf: |

Bingo. Frittata is simply one way italians use up leftovers, pasta included. |

Many Ethiopian Jews like my own family migrated there years ago. That's why Italians are also known as cheap back stabbin niggaz. |

| I usually throw some sausage or haggis in with it....makes it a perfect Scottish Dish. |

Well its the perfect use for left over pasta, 'cause its just not the same after a night in the fridge and a little heavy by itself for breakfast.

Can't cook.
There's no simpler way of saying it, I know because I've tried. I'll ask her mum if she's got any decent recipes for it and post it here, going over on the weekend. |
