I looked through the tutorials on how to sidechain 2 Audio samples together and i couldn't find any on logic 9. In logic 8 its a little different. I just want to know what a kick and bass sidechained would sound like.

Nothing has changed in Logic 9 from version 8.
Set up an audio channel, say Audio 1, with a kick sample, then set the output to (No Output).
Place a Compressor on the channel that you want the effect, and select the channel with the kick sample. ex. (Audio 1), in the Side Chain drop down at the top right hand corner of the Compressor plugin window.
Enjoy. |
