Jimmy and I are bringing our Plastic Love party to the seas alongside Jake Patrick & Matt Derham of Delinquent Frequency, and the indomitable Mr. C :D
On the afternoon of Saturday, June 26, Harmonic launches their Summer series and takes their dance party to the open water. OVERBOARD is an extremely intimate tiki boat party set to fall on the last Saturday of the Summer months. The inaugural event will feature LA newcomer and Superfreq head honcho - MR C (Wagon Repair, Poker Flat), along with Harmonic and Avalon residents DELINQUENT FREQUENCY, and Plastic Love residents BAS + JIMMY MAHERAS. Bust out your life preservers, captain's hats, and shoulder parrots, because any and all Boating/Yachting/Pirate attire is strongly recommended. Look forward to 4+ hours of quirky fun in the sun as the tiki sets sail on a funk-filled tour of Newport Bay and Balboa Island. Equipped with ample sound, a full bar, and a deck full of party pirates, OVERBOARD promises to carve out a place for itself in Southern California's Summer dance music escapades. Boarding starts in Balboa (600 Edgewater Ave, Balboa 92661) at 1pm, the boat leaves at 1:30pm sharp, and returns to dock at 5:30pm. Limited presale tickets available at wantickets.com (search Harmonic Productions). This event only has capacity of 120 people, and tickets WILL sell out, so get them while the gettin's good. That is a bad weekend. WE will bw out of town. How about the weekend before. I have party with Chris Leibibng and there is a good Standard party on Sunday.
