He's saying it was his idea. I remember hearing that while he loved doing marathons, he didn't like encouraging people to go so long without eating and sleep, so this is a good idea to break it up. Plus it guarantees Stereo has two capacity nights in a row. Now just to see if he declares a musical theme for the nights, and how much tix will be going for. |

| I'm a noob and have never heard of Danny Tenaglia, I'm sure he's awesome or else there wouldn't be so much hype about him, and the fact that he's playing 2 nights in a row must mean something, but can someone explain to me.. what makes him so special? What kind of house does he play? |

He can play techno also !!!! Saw him twice in the Carl Cox & Friends tent at Ultra Fest in Miami playing banging techno alongside the master himself

True. Occasionally, you'll find one with some Spanish or Italian dude that will talk half the time over the recording which is very freakin annoying. You'll make out Tenaglia's name, which seems to suggest a legit recording (i.e at Space). I have a set where he grabs the mic and talks, which pretty much makes it the real deal :) (recorded without his consent I take it!) |

I second that! I saw him do an extended set @ SPACE ( Ibiza ) last year and he did a little of everything! House , tech house , vocal house , techno , electro , prog....
You can't really define him under one umbrella ... it's just good "dance" music.... |

i would say the best word to describe the majority of his set is
"maximal" yet he still can bring the drums and some straight up amazing tech house and techno even some songs with trancey elements to it
and yes there are very few dt sets floating around, and he put out very few cd's also so its hard to get a fix on what kinda stuff he's playing these days
in my opinion if i were you i would check him out one of the nights
99% of the people who posted in this thread wouldnt be sayin good things about him if it wassent true |
