First of all, WE want to thank everyone that made the F*ck*n P*rv*rts Memorial Weekend Boat Party a massive success!
Words can't express the sick vibe on that boat from the moment it left the dock until 4 hours later when we returned, the amazing pictures posted here: http://ocprods.com/gallery/OCP_2010 definitely captured the epic moments.
Now, new business.. Join us June 20th for our 4th installment of our Cookin' series. This time we welcome someone who needs no introduction, well, unless you've been living under a rock for the past 5 or so years.
Come help us celebrate the birthday (he won't tell us how old) of a very good friend to the family and an amazing talent behind the decks and in the studio.. DJ LEXXX!!
here are a few words about our man of the hour:
Lexxx, was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. While in college, a friend introduced him to electronic music and he has been deeply involved ever since. Wanting to make people feel the way he did when he heard the music, he purchased his first pair of turntables and a mixer. After practicing in his bedroom for over a year, he went to an "open decks" night at Club 324 where his performance ultimately landed him a residency there. For the next three years there, he played a wide spectrum of house music including funky, tribal, and progressive. After graduating college, he wanted to further his musical horizons (and avoid going through any more cold winters), so he packed up his gear and moved to Tampa, FL. Since then, he has held numerous residencies in Tampa including Bahasa Lounge and Club Energy and also played a monthly event at Blue in Miami with his best friend and fellow DJ, Ismael. In addition to the residencies and guest spots around Tampa, he plays in various events across the state and beyond. Tech house, deep house, and minimal are a few stops along the journey which is backed by intelligent mixing and an unreal track selection. Also, be sure to keep an ear out for his original material, he has been hard at work in the studio lately.

I agree, but this is a monthly that takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month. We encourage Fathers to bring their children to enjoy the beats and bbq. |
