| And it's funny how to him it's "just a file". As if absolutely no time, effort or resources have gone into producing it. What a ing tool. |

Again, the act of paying $2.49 for a file is absurd. I don't care who made the song, how much sweat/tears they put into it, etc...it's a ripoff. |

I don't buy vinyls.
You know...maybe if Culprit weren't a bunch of money-grubbing s they wouldn't sign a deal with Beatport to make this EP a ridiculously overpriced "exclusive".
Have you guys ever heard about AmazonMP3 and their pricing models? |

| Have you ever considered the fact that since they're really not going to be selling a whole lot of copies, offering these tracks at $2.49 for a limited period is one of their only chances of making any money? Ad I mean, , it's not like you DJ out with this . Why does it bother you so much to just wait a few weeks? |

If they were concerned about money, they would spread their catalog around the internet as much as possible. But they don't. They keep them locked into Beatport at the highest possible prices out there. None of their stuff is on Amazon.
See the problem with small DJ-run labels is that they don't see business in the eyes of consumers. So you have potheads like bas and Clovis going to Beatport and signing these deals which everyone over except people like themselves (DJ's).
And then they bitch when the consumer bitches, but consumers have every right to do so when they're looking at paying $7.50 for a three track digital EP as their only option if they want to listen to some new music. |
