Pole Folder in Montreal?

Hey guys and girls,
I am considering the option of booking Pole Folder for a gig in July. I want to find out how many of you support this idea. He's never been to Montreal before nor the rest of Canada. |

Pole Folder is a very good producer when it comes to atmospheric prog house. In fact, his debut album (Zero Gold) and several tracks and remixes he did over the years are classics to me.
However, as a dj, I have never heard a set he did that was quite interesting. I find his sets to be too proggy, too linear. Not that they were bad but they were missing a bit of 'kick'.
He is probably touring for the release of his new album, The Helsinki Accord, which should come out soon. |

| I appreciate your feedback, I was hoping for more show of hands. The tranceaddict community is a good indicator in my opinion when it comes to less known dj's. |

Just out of curiosity, how many people are looking for to come see Pole Folder (bare minimum).
My opinion...
Seeing not sure how many people are regulars here on MTLTA. Say max 30. Which is a good number, seeing we can network friends (some of us do know the same people).
If you do bring Pole Folder to Montreal... I have a feeling you probably will attract 100-200 people which is good. Not sure if thats the number your looking for. |

That's what I'm hoping. 150ish. I don't mind the kids, but I'm hoping that nostalgic 25+ will show up and will form the majority of the attendance.
I'm doing it for all of you, like me, that want to hear something different.

| I would go, I love his stuff. There's not enough quality prog in mtl. |
