Hiya, i suddenly remembered this page, what i used to browse wayback year 2000, thought to be mean person and spam rightaway this project that me and my friend are doing, ... so i apologize in advance, of my evilness and this song that usually tears apart the eardrums.

So yeah, i'm in to melodic trance, and friend in house, so we thought to combine our inpirations... so this is the first track we have done, song has been tried out already at one ug tranceparties, and it did work nicely there, well atleast in my oppinion.

Now i'll shut up and present the url for the song, let me know what u guys and girls like it. Cheers from Finland! :whip:

Hell yeah baby this is sick :) Even had to turn it up. I'm not sure if I can hear the bass coming out very much. I hear the bassline you have that is saturated in reverb, but I can't hear any sub bassline supporting it. The breakdown part with the triplets at 1:45 will make many tranceheads happy, but try to lessen the reverb effect once that part comes into play so we can enjoy the actual sound of the synth and not the reverb effect. It makes it sounds tighter and cleaner. You can automate the reverb to gush again after the breakdown part. The sub part seems pretty weak to me. The snare/clap could be fatter in the mix too. Maybe a slightly longer tail.

Clubland speak: I would suggest capitalizing on a more concerted theme once you hit the breakdown (hook), there are a lot of very nice melodic efforts but due to the saturated nature of some of the synths(reverb almost exclusively), the energy is sort of lacking definition. I would say, dry out those breakdown parts, and tame the reverb a little more. Make the breakdown hit hard and focus on a theme. Good luck!

p.s. Try messing with the automation on the bassline, perc, whatever, or adding some glitch FX, etc. Gareth Emery has hundreds of edits in his tracks, just keep that in mind. It will be the cherry if you can get some dynamic elements to help your tune stand out, and you'll go far.

Big thumbs up, fantastic effort.
