Turn out was great, But honestly, I don't like Nocturnal as a venue. They need to seriously put some REAL lights and visuals up there and upgrade the sound system for real! If all these shows are to come, Those things must be done!

Andy was great and when I was leaving at 6AM I saw Andy on my way out on the stairs drunk out of his mind. I was like "Where ya going?" He was like "Your house" "After Party" "You spinning right" LMAO! Than he asked me to crack his back.
EDM-head
I did noticed he was housed...lol..you should see the signature on the flag...I will definitely have him sign it again one day..

Yeah, beside the audio system and humidity, I had a great night and Andy Moor ripped it. When Andy started the Echo was killing me and though Andy was being slappy lol. I had to move to the center. Paolo Mojo was ripping it too and he was so funky with some active drums.

here a opening set of Andy Moor and you'll find other videos in my channel.

Moor was impressive, dropped a nice set. Played upbeat high enery trance, to a crowd that gave him a huge welcome when he came on. Great energy in the crowd at the start of his set. Set progressed & flowed well, definitely got everyone moving. Nice crowd also, most everyone was cool & there to have a good time. Also felt good to be able to hang boothfront for a while and not get trampled or bumped into every 30 seconds like the Space terrace crackheads like to do to anyone that dares to hang boothfront.

Only bad thing for me was that it was about 100 degrees in there, especially on the dancefloor. Had to buy drinks & water every 20 or 30 minutes or would've passed out. You could notice the heat took a toll on everyone because after an hour and a half of Moor's set the floor was less crowded & alot of people were chilling taking breathers. Maybe they should uncover that terrace & add some more fans so that air flows in there a bit.

Funny moment last night for us was when someone handed Moor a cellphone (probably with a message on it), Moor turns down the music almost all the way down, puts the phone to his ear and loudly says: "hello, hello." We lost it laughing ...

yea andy did pretty good. nothing absolutely mind blowing but it was nice to hear some trance for once. the sound issues were the system? i thought that was andy for some reason. his mixing at the beginning of the night was ing spot on. he did some real killer . although i agree with the venue, its not really all that, it was nice how up front you could get. i got some nice video footage thats being uploaded to youtube right now. got a nice long almost 10 min video of the beginning of his set with a nice angle too. itll take awhile to upload though, the file is 1.63gbs. but his mixing did get a bit sloppy towards the end of the night. guess it was all those drinks he was being fed. lol. someone would bring him a drink and he'd hand it to a girl standing in front of the booth and she'd take a huge gulp and then he'd finish it. kinda gross but funny. i ended up leaving around 4:45 just because i was a bit sloshed myself. overall pretty decent night and i'll be out to support the other trance shows although i wish theyd upgrade the terrace a bit. a few led lights around the outside of the booth for example is such a cheap but effective way to make the place better. also that smoke machine needs to changed out asap. that was disgusting every time it went off. you could hardly breathe.

only have one real complaint... the ing bartenders. first off the guy who was at the bar by the bathroom was a complete and total moron. he knew nothing on how to serve drinks. he wouldnt open up a tab for us because it was "too much trouble" and couldnt even get to people in order at all and after he charged you for your drinks he would himself take up to 3 dollars for himself and stick it in his tip jar. of course if you didnt notice youd end up tipping him again. this guy was RAPING people basically and no one noticed. as soon as i saw that i went to the bar on the other side. there as soon as i walked up i got served, opened up a tab no problem. that guy was awesome. question though... does anyone know how much any ing drinks actually cost there? i spent $21 on a generic vodka/redbull + heineken, $20 on a greygoose vodka/cranberry + heineken, $22 on goose/cran + heine, and 8, 9, and 10 on heinekens by themselves. i got a couple waters too but that went on a tab so i have no idea how much those were. tab also had 20% gratuity included but im not surprised by that. the prices varying like that though is ing scandalous. i dont mind spending a bit of cash because with all the people who were rolling there im sure the bar sales needed my support but atleast get it to be consistent.

nice meeting tim and edm-head (sorry didnt catch your name). nat and rowe, good times like always. until marco v!

couple pics before the main event of the videos...

I thought it was an awesome party! I wasn't that dissapointed with the sound and lights because I went in expecting worse. When I saw Cosmic Gate/Giuseppe Ottaviani, 2 yrs ago at the Eden terrace, It was horrible. Maybe because of the daylight (afterhours) and the fact that there was around 15-20 people there. (yea it's been awhile since I've been there lol)

With that being said, I do have to agree on the sound, lights and fog machine bit. Although better than I expected, the sound system needs an upgrade. (maybe i'm just spoiled because of the space terrace  ) There were lights but they need lights on the front part of the terrace. I thought it would be so sweet if they had 3 TV's over the DJ booth. (left, center, right) I've seen it for PVD @ Space back in November and Schulz @ The venue this past weekend. Really adds to the vibe IMO. That fog machine was horrible. If its not cooled, like at gryphon, (not sure the name for it) then its not worth having in a place as hot as that.

On another note, it was great meeting snatonsb, edm-head, atmos and the guy that was playing downstairs before they opened the terrace. (i dont remember his name =/ ) I know nat introduced me to someone that I think was a TA aswell..Michael, maybe. I think we had the same name lol. I have terrible memory.

Can't wait till Marco V @ Gryphon!!
