(temporarily discontinued due to the ty audio demo and crappy reception lol....but it'll be back with more sounds and a wayyyy better demo)
Let's just say if the reception was that poor, then I don't want my image associated with it. |

| if i was you i would include supersaws in your bank, but make them somewhat sound different which i think is still possible, also, i would spend more time on making your demos midis etc , it will sell more if they sound good, and rather than ask people what sounds they want just listen to the top 10 tunes of the last year make the lead sounds out of them, that should leave you with about 90 presets yet to make, they should be well made standard preset kind of sounds like good basses plucks and pads or original sounding usable sounds that show off the synth, bit of both, good luck, best soundset i ever heard was by kamui http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn1oZRffcT0, made me realise what a synth can do beyond the standard sounds you hear alot |

Hey thanks for all the input and the link :). For all the demo MP3s, I've been gathering up some people to do the demos, leaving me free to spend my time on just sound design. Honestly, I would agree that my sets would sell better if they had better demos. Songwriting isn't my strongest suit, so it doesn't put my sounds in the best light, plus I don't have much time to bear down and make killer music as I've got so many 3rd party projects going on. If the sounds themselves were bad, Rob Papen wouldn't be selling that Xenos bank for $30 bucks a pop lol:

Basses that sound crap in isolation but work very well solo, and layered with each other in a mix (like most basses do).

By the way, I'm looking for new demos for the V-Station, SubBoomBass (Meltdown!), Gladiator and D-CAM: Synth Squad sets. If you can make a really good, professional and highly polished MP3 demo, feel free to PM me with some links to show what you have done and I will pick the most talented individuals, then we shall sort it out from there :).
I am in the process of making some major changes in order to present a much more professional and polished company image to the public, and the demos definitely do need to be overhauled. |
