however that stuff before lawler was slow, monotonous and completely unentertaining.

remember last year everyone said the same thing about the junkies when they opened for lawler on skybar? but we all know the junkies can blow the place apart. i also know that darius syrossian and nyra can blow the place apart as well. coincidence? i think not.

It's just like any dj, everyone hears mixes/productions of them that are banging and when they see them live they expect to the roof to be blown but there def are off nights or the dj isn't even in the mood to be throwing down.. Fanciulli at Footy and Joris Voorn at Cobra are prime examples of this

last night wasnt a good example either, from whoever said things about them, there were alot of cheers for these guys, that should be enough evidence....

I wasn't there for them but if lawler lovers were bored by them then they didn't do a good job opening clearly

The CD is pretty good....good chill out music.

I agree with everyone that the openers were complete utter .....I almost left because I just couldn't take it. I will say that I am sick of people chanting for a DJ when other DJs are spinning....even if you don't like who's spinning show a little respect.

Lawler was great.....anytime a DJ can make me pull out the chicken dance and the macarena in one night is doing something right.

The hardest part about the night was dealing with the crowd.....it wasn't overly packed and I had lots of room to dance when I wanted it but wow what a change in the crowd over the last 10 years. The number of completely mangled people just disgusted me....seriously, all the mangled people to the back of the bus.

It was great running into some old faces that I haven't seen in awhile....even the one asian couple that somehow always seems to dance beside me when I'm at guv...I think they may be swingers.

I'll try and shorten it to 454 years next time.

Damn, wish I had seen him on skybar! Lawler on skybar >>> Lawler in main room, for me anyways! I'm sure he'll be back soon! :)
