My question is does anyone have any tips or tricks to do this? The Chemical Brothers champion a very lo-fi sound. They also use a LOT of vintage and newer analog, and they are big fans of running synths through crazy hardware effect chains, such as guitar pedals. You can plainly hear that in most of their music. I know that they have a Buchla modular that's featured prominently on their most recent album. Stylz Sounds like panning and every sound having it's own space frequency wise.
