Goldenscan (Ed Goring and Mark McCormick) continued strive to push the boundaries of dance music is the reason that their thousands of loyal fans world wide flock to the clubs at the mere hint of a new release………Why?
There is a kind of intrinsic honesty and integrity about all of their productions. A level of attention to detail and passion for “how will this sound on the dance floor” that is seen in only a select few producers.

With the massive success of Sunrise, Halcyon and Only With You. And the support and airplay from Judge Jules, Armin Van Burren, Paul Van Dyk and BT, it would seem it’s an opinion shared by the very best in the industry. Artists are lining up to work with them and remix their tracks, including Tiesto, Pulser, Ronski Speed and most recently The Neptune Project and Sean Tyas.
Both Ed and Mark’s dance music pedigree was forged in the steel city of Sheffield, England, the home of the mighty Gatecrasher. This is where they developed their style, love of trance and understanding of what makes an exceptional record.
Before forming Goldenscan Ed was part of the multi hit-making Elavatorman, as for Mark, he was part of FXU the first UK act to be signed to NYC’s highly prestigious Strictly Rhythm.

As a team they have been signed to Virgin’s VC, Armada, ATCR and Lost Language record labels, and after a 4 year break from those constraints, and some time to themselves in the studio,

Goldenscan are back!

it's not, I don't think it's in Ed's DNA!

He hates all that tripe.
