Last night I went jogging on this trail that is something like 10 minutes outside of the city. I was coming around a bend and saw a girl hit a jagged part of the cement and fly off her bike.
I ran up to see if she was ok and saw that she had smashed her chin on the ground and her face was bleeding.
I instinctively felt the need to give her something with which to apply pressure to the 3-inch area on her jawline that was bleeding.
I had on a running jacket over a shirt; with a few seconds of awkward thinking, I took them both off and gave her the shirt. I also gave her my bottle of water and offered to walk with her to my car and give her a ride home. She insisted she was ok and thanked me, so after staying with her for a few more minutes, I took off.
I later realized that I had given several seconds of thought to not giving her my $120 LuluLemon running jacket. I instead gave her my tank top.
I saw someone go flying off a bike and when I saw them bleeding, my first concern wasn't moving forward with first aid. I thought instead about how much I love my jacket and don't want it to get ruined :sadgreen:
I'm an .
I'm like George Costanza in the burning building.

| :o I don't see why you feel bad, i mean you don't know the person and you were able to help without having to ruin your jacket, most people would just walk by and be like oh wow omg are you ok? k bye!. |

Ania, do you know what a tunneling electron microscope is? It's a really awesome device that, by using quantum mechanical effects, enables you to see things in gigantic magnification, going as far as showing you the very atoms that everything is made of.
If I were using that device right now I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your story. |

What Amduscias said was true , I mean you don't even know her , and for you to help her is already a pretty nice thing to do IMO . Offering to send her home is something that I think very little people will do IMO.
Most people will just dial for the ambulance , but giving her their personal belongings is what I don't see often. (At least in my country. Yeah , my country is pretty bitchy. Last time a Motorcyclist fell and his elbow bled like , everyone just stood near him and stared at him like as if he was a blue Avatar character. Damn.) |

There also will be a moment in your life when you have a in your mouth and realize you're not sucking it out of pure altruism but because of the 10.000 $ diamond ring its owner bought you. That's not being materialistic, it's called being a whore. And it's quite a common condition among females. |

agreed.
Meat, we get it, the story is entirely inconsequential and devoid meaningful substance; however, you need to work on some new material to express your indifference. Perhaps you should estimate the time it would take for the light from this story to reach your interest, rate it on a 1-10 Jesus pose scale, etc... just something new because; Dude... old joke is old. |
