If people start dissing me, I respond appropriately, when necessary. But otherwise, believe me, I will be the last person who will start a thread saying how Macs are better than PCs, or vice versa.

But before everyone here jumps on a Mac bandwagon, I wanted to voice a different opinion. I.e. maybe Macs have certain advantages or vice versa, but DJ'ing on a PC is not a gay/retarded thing.

i dont think that vdub's comment about laptop djing being ghey was meant to be a personal attack.

what crappy pirated upgrade did you get? :P

Vista gave me the BSOD a few times but in 17 months of using win7, nothing.

In this day and age you gotta be a laptop DJ to be in business. I do have a large record collection, but the music is too dated for today's kids - and I will not be buying new Lady Gaga or Drake records every week and carrying heavy crates of records along with me. I am mostly a TOP 40 DJ.

Especially for stag & doe's .... people dont give a if you use real records or use a computer nowadays. As long as you have the tracks, the effects, lights, the proper music selection/combination - people dont even give a about good mixing either. They dont know what mixing is actually.

Talking about vinyl vs. laptop DJ'ing is a lot like the Mac vs. PC discussion ... those who have Macs and have records obviously think they're elite ...

OK dude this takes the cake for your retarded posts...

First... you're a top 40 DJ... GTFO...

Second... you've never heard of CD's???

even the new CDJ's read memory sticks...

You're making excuses for your inability to mix...

Don't compare the ppl on this board with ppl who go to your lame ass top 40 parties...
infinity HiGH
I love the pissing contest that goes on between DJ's who use laptops, and fans of DJ's that don't use laptops to perform. I wonder how many of these fans actually have extensive experience in both mediums. Or do they just need another excuse to big up their favourite ty DJ's... :conf:
