This Chapter of Necessary Roughness we present -
BASTI (PLOT/Electric Pickle. Argentina/Miami)
DJ/producer Sebastian Silva a.k.a. Basti is an Argentinian transplant and former indie rocker who relocated to Miami in 1999 to pursue a career in music.
Basti has since established himself as a regular in Miami's underground house and techno scene and has played alongside artists like Mark Henning, Seth Troxler, Dilo, Gurtz, Fase Miusic Sender, Damian Schwartz, Robert Dietz, Butane, Shaun Reeves, No Regular Play, Bruno Pronsato, Alexi Delano, Wolf + Lamb, Gaiser, Konrad Black, Matias Aguayo and Barem among others.
He became a resident dj with the PL0T collective in 2008; and together with Alejandro Sab and Michael Christopher, they've been taking the underground parties to the next level.
He has also made the leap to incorporate live elements in his performances, using hardware MIDI controllers and analog drum machines, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to his live sound.
