Isn't it always important to get the geography out of the way, first?
I actually really like this, Lilith. I was only familiar with Drunk As A Monk, so all the other songs were new, and I definitely will listen to it a few more times and maybe look into some of those artists a bit more :)
Flow was really nice, imo, and it wasn't obvious at all what was a new song and what was old. I think you're lying about not touching a mixer in months, because the mixing was excellent as well.
Glad I finally got to catch a set from you. Was really good and I'll definitely be giving it more listens :) |

| Yep this is a pretty tasty mix. Some really interesting sounds and atmospheres in each track and they're all quite different from each other. Maybe we're wrong but I agree with Lews on the lying about 'not mixing for ages' statement because this was solid. Please keep posting sets coz I really enjoyed this one. |

Most of its relatively contemporary, the Noise Unit and Intermix tracks are from 1995-1997ish era, sort of picked them because they're ageless/before their time like a lot of Leeb's tracks.
Spent a lot of time finding the right tonality for the collection, so they aren't all that drastically different, even if there is a bit of variation in beat structure.
(Plus at 130-132bpm its not too hard to mix!) |

| Enjoyable mix for sure. It picks up for me personally around the half-hour mark and as you say, it's slower than the last one I heard from you. I like the breakbeat track to end too, the flow is definitely good here. From my sets that you've heard, the one thing I sometimes struggle with is getting the flow to work but you've nailed it, so good job :) |

:o Thanks Ian for listening, that one in particular at the end is one of my favourite Hybrid tracks, I also had a Deadcandance track which was sung in the same key with similar structure so I slipped it in to give it a little more depth.
Oh yeah, the dark-electro in the middle is fairly intense stuff, had to do a bit of hunting around to find the right riff-laden sounds there. |
