Gareth Emery's set at Circus

Had an amazing time despite the scorching heat inside Circus. Loved the crowd, it really seemed like people were there for the music and the number of sketchy people in attendance was rather limited it seemed.
Any chance of getting the recorded version of Gareth's set? Would be wicked. Thanks! |

Really? I didn't notice that at all..
Even if he did, I have no problem personally with a DJ playing a lot of vocal tracks if they're all good tracks...
From my perspective, the dancefloor was packed and ppl going nuts for the whole 3 hours he was on. That's pretty much the bottom line.. |

He was amazing.
One point, being front row, I wrote in my Iphone a track that I wanted to hear midway through his set. I stretch to reach him, he sees me , takes my iphone, looks at me, gives me a thumbs up, plays the tune.
this guy was amazing.
His next podcast (#105) will be his set at Circus. so no worries about the tracklist being shown online.
great comment about the crowd. People knew their music. Track after Track, the crowd reacted with uproar of joy and content with his beats.
Some vocals were played but, the balance and choice of songs were excellent.
Oren D readied the crowd perfectly. once Gareth came on, it felt like the room exploded. thats how great the floor was prepped by Oren.
what a night, thanks to Circus for hosting us such a great event. |

Out of curiosity, what track did you ask for? I asked him via Twitter to play Sgt.Slick - Live in the night (Vandalism Remix) (totally blew my mind in his Podcast 100 set)and he played it which was awesome.
Also, I hope you're right about podcast 105. You think the podcast will be the whole 3hour set though? |

yes podcast 105 is his live set @ Circus :)
usually his podcast is 1:30 hours... he will probably release a part of it, i guess. |
