Saying that Deadmau5 has more technical knowledge is irrelevant. All that means is that he knows his way around a computer, and since he wrote at least some portion of the software that he uses to produce, that's to be expected.
Having the technical knowledge to create a wide and interesting array of sounds and sound types in no way means that the person is good at composing music. Music is the key word in this debate. Deadmau5 makes good sounds, Prydz makes good music.
