Strange Obsession by Calvin Karass by Calvin Karass

Yet another weird piece to leave you confused. Not really sure what I was after when I made this but I did, so figured I would share. Let me know your thoughts.

I really like this, probably the best thing i've heard from you so far, not that i've heard everything!

The lead that happens all throughout is very Neelix like and suits the track perfectly.

The only fly in the ointment for me is the loop that's there from the outset, it's a bit too loud and get's really annoying as the track goes on.

Lovely lead construction, though

I much prefer this over your lethal industry remix. However, it is again a style that I'm not particularly into. Mind you, I did enjoy the pads and crazy lead sound. I think it would sound really good notched up a few BPM.

There was a track you posted a good few months ago that I enjoyed, which was a lot harder than this. In fact, I have it on my HD somewhere and will look it out.

Not thinking of Electrostatica by any chance? The one people were claiming was Psy trance. :)

Yoink!

Nicely mixed and I really liked the beat. You, perhaps, took a bit of a chance with the prominence of the buzzy lead but I think it pays off in defining this tune.

when i first listened to this i thought to myself"ok the middle kind of lingers,so the main hook better be banging"AND IT IS!!!it come out of nowhere and socks you in the gut(and maybe a little too quickly.as a dj i would pause this track to get the crowd ready just a half second longer).but the bottom line here is this track is great.the main hook makes the entire song.i could easily see this being played in a set by richard durand or sander van doorn.i know ill be playing it!!good job once again!

Hey guys,

Thanks for listening in and think you for your kind comments. Feel free to play it as much as you want.

At this stage I am planning to leave this as it is, but may choose to revisit it at some point in the future when the inspiration grabs me.

Many thanks
