Hey, I've just listened to your song.. Nice! Really nice!
But I think you should change the kick, it sounds too "high" to me. And maybe you could master the song a bit better, because it can sound really professional!

Nice track. Yes the kick is a bit out of the mix. Maybe put it a little bit softer in the mix and try to filter of a little bit of the hi frequenties.
what did you use to make this track?

thanks for listening... I wanted a harder edge to this track so that's why I chose that kick. My last production was kind of weak in the kick department so I wanted this to stand out, looks like it did. :) I'm working on a full-length album right now, using equipment from Roland, Korg, Yamaha, and Access, as well as adding some computer-generated pieces. I hope to be done by the end of the year.

Oh yeah - a similar type of kick is used in "Rank 1 - Such is Life (Rank 1's Deep Dub Mix)" that was played by Tiesto in one of the liveset rips. So it's not like you CAN'T use this style of kick in a trance tune... :D There are other examples too.. I just remembered this...
