I've never payed much attention to headphones but think i might get a decent pair of cans some time when i get back to the states.
Any suggestions? Don't know if this subject has come up in this room yet. If so, i apologize, and i'll delete this thread as soon as i get redirected to the other one.

i have pioneer hdj 1000, sony mdr-v700dj and technics rpdh 1200, and a scrap piece of headphone i put together during an emergency to a gig when i forgot my headphones. honestly its all about personal preference. id rather dj with the emergency headphones i put together because the way i mix is one on the headphone with the monitor letting sound in. the right balance of sound between the two is adjusted on the mixer. now when djing, z, NEVER MIX BOTH SONGS IN THE HEADPHONES !!! if you start doing clubs, some have dj mixers that DO NOT let you cue both songs in the headphones and youll ruin your night as a dj. learn to mix with the headphone and the monitor. but yea ill let you use my studio to use each headphones to suit your taste. once you find your niche, feck everything else.
