overall i really enjoyed the selection & mixing but two little things popped out to me :

the electric piano chord ostinato thing @ ~ 26:00 sounded a little grating to me. i liked the surrounding groove but for some reason this just didn't sit well with me

also the vocal loop from around ~ 32:00-37:00 is cool but i think its repetitive nature gets a little tiring after 5 minutes. maybe you could splice it down to like 16-32 bars and have it as more of a transitional segment rather than a centerpiece?

thanks for the input im just not what you mean hehe

im not mixing my own tunes here these are other artist's tunes its a promo mix. !!! the track with the stab thats the stab robag used in the track. nothing i can really do to change that. and the vocal in alex celler and anthea's record sin, is in it the whole way through i cant exactly cut it out and i don't like mixing records when they are not finished i like to let them breath and play out.

but thanks for the comments none the lees appreciate it

thanks a lot for the kind words! appreciate it man

unfortunately i'm trapped in the bedroom dj stage right now because my laptop is getting less and less reliable . i'd be terrified to rely on it running for more than 40 minutes without crashing

in the meantime i'm just practicing dj'ing at home and doing some production/sound design while working and saving for better gear and waiting for school to start back up

i'd like to maybe learn how to use cdj's or vinyl to have some versatility and perhaps bring a more spontaneous approach to my mixing cause right now i spend too much time microediting tracks i work with to suit the arrangement of the other track(s) i'm mixing with. this is something i definitely wouldn't have time to do live unless i played really rehearsed sets, which i'm not sure i want to do.
