Nope. He's in Miami on Aug 7 unless that changed.
He plays at Audiotistic @ NOS on July 24th, though. |

Why doesn't Wippenberg get any love? This guy is fantastic!
He's always produced good sets full of heavy progressive blends of house, trance, and techno. He wanders from an almost ambient approach to a heavier vocal beat, and he does a great job at working in mashups and remixes of other popular works!
Last time he was in San Francisco, he came on after Dave Dresden. Between the two of them, that was one of the best 4 hour nights of house I've ever had at a club in SF.
Check out his mix on Markus Schulz' Global DJ Broadcast, or any of his other live sets floating around the internet! |

Fantastic set by Wippenberg! An amazing blend of progressive house, techno, and trance that reminded me of Gabriel & Dresden with a more vocal and upbeat twist.
I can see why some people aren't that into him - you really need to dig the progressive sound to get his mixes. He really builds the set up as he goes along his two hour spree. The last 40 minutes were just pure gold.
I can't wait for the next one! |
