I had a dream this morning of me spinning with one ipad using ableton and audiodj8 (traktor scratch)
so is this possible? can i time warp songs on my ipad and use ableton to play them while the music goes to the soundcard and straight to the mixer?
or there's another way of doing it? |

No usb port means no soundcard i think. I know they have an adaptor for sending pics to the ipad but doubt it'll power a soundcard. I could be wrong though.

It's not possible, no. Although you could use TouchOSC or a similar app to control a laptop with Albeton on it connected to an Audio8.
There was a video of Richie Hawtin using 2 ipads connected to a laptop recently. So its not as if people aren't experimenting with this idea. |

| wait for macbook pro touch and ableton touch. will be awesome. hopefully theyll improve the internal soundcard on the MBP with double sets of stereo outs, hopefully RCAs. i hate to bring external soundcards. |
