Holy what a cluster- last night. Both the main room and KH were jammed to the teeth, at times you could hardly get any room to move. It was great!

It seemed like each DJ had their game on and no matter where you went, you weren't disappointed. Like Chinamon, I agree that at times Congorock sounded too much like a Z103 concert. He did make up for it with some pretty slammin tracks, which I managed to catch a bit of it on video. I also caught the beginning of Benassi's set and thought the transition was pretty smooth. He started of with some raunchy tracks that made you want more! I could hardly stand still holding up the camera as the sea of ppl felt like you were caught in a riptide at the beach. You had to go with the flow... like you had a choice, LOL!

I found my way over to Deadmau5 and also caught the start of his late starting set, which was too bad 'cause I promised Christina Cruise I'd record her, but missed out because I forgot about her when I was in KH. (I'll send her an apology today.) It was ing packed and HOT in there. They eventually opened some giant garage door of some sort to let the air in. It didn't matter if you were in the front and it was to far to feel the effects of the coolness. Everything was soaking wet... the pipes... people, etc. My lens kept getting steamed and had to wipe from time to time.

If you want great video or pictures, I find KH is the best for getting the colourful "pretty" shots, and last night was no exception. Deadmau5 brought his own gear in and that cube was off the hook! It was just as much fun listening to him as it was watching the vibrant patterns racing across the cubes surface. VDUB... I got some great footage of all of that... you'll be very happy!

I also caught part of JFK's set. The amount of ppl went down a touch, so it was relatively easy (compared to before) to move around. His tunes were also really good. His overall appearance made him look somewhat like a rock star on the decks. FWIW it was good to see that Benassi cleaned himself up a bit, compared to the last time I seen him when I recorded his set. He didn't appear as "grubby" as before.

Of course I listened to some of Deko-ze's set, although I didn't feel like recording it this time. He never disappoints. The Drink could have had more ppl, but it seemed to be more of a transitional walk-though, just like The Orange Room. In times like this, the artists get passed over too easy... which is a dam shame.

I left at 6:15.

Actually, the end of his set is when he should bring it back down to set the stage for the headliner to take it up.

Yes that's exactly what he did...

The kool haus was rammed to the . I found the crowd was younger than average and a lot of them first timers to the guv.
I was extremely disappointed with Deadmau5's performance last night. He was 1/2 hr late the speakers on the left side were blown and sounded like . His equipment was malfunctioning and it sounded like it was skipping. Equipment malfunctions that were out of his control aside I thought the set was really weak, it had no flow. His encore was the worst part... he never even dropped it.

+1 to everything said here!

This seems to be a trend in the Kool Haus? There were issues in there with PVD at Freedom as well. On the subject of Deadmau5, there's no reason to expect his "performance" not to suck. He plays the same set every time anyways. As for his encore...worst. ending. ever. Definitely not worth the money.

My thoughts similar but have to disagree with his encore.. industrial strength pills was really amazing. I guess you can blame the sound techs for not really testing out the speakers and boy were they loud! The left side wasn't really blown(u woundn't hear anything if it was blown) more like clipping that I think happens with too much voltage .. add the heat you are bound to have those types of tech difficulties.

All in all 60 bucks kinda worth it. Seeing the setup was impressive and hopefully we see the mau5 at a better venue.. as he stated before after Boxing day he will get the ricoh or something...

lol @ vdub actually liking the mau5 after I have heard him complain about the guy and everything.. he may be a dick but his music stands for itself and he can be the biggest in the world his music is still good.

Loving Deko-ze's set in the Cathouse.. he played 'This is the hook' bsod.

Left around 5 ... disappointed they weren't letting anyone up to skybard around 4

for 60bucks I would of liked if there was some kinda free gift.. like lawler did. At least free admission like they gave out at all the other all access events.
