For instance, I was parking some dude's car who was bringing his wife and young child in to the hospital. When I sat down in the car the little kid spit on me, and then laughed and gave me the evil eye the entire time him and his parents were walking in. Shocked isn't quite the right word - at least for what I felt - since that sort of violence seems to be part of the YouTube milieu. I've been the victim of worse. Horrified is the correct word. Just because it's what's expected doesn't make it tolerable.

Maybe to you, but I get the sense that a lot of people here really were unaware that this kind of thing (and worse) goes on all the time, especially in urban areas.
