Where can I take my scenster niece for the biggest and best selection of Pop Rock/Acoustic Rock/Alternative Rock in LA/Hollywood surrounding area?

I think his point was that Amoeba is pretty much the only place you'll need to visit to find what you're looking for.
I haven't been to the one down here, but if it's like the one in SF (on Haight) then he's prob right! |

yeah, sorry. i think you misread. what davet said was right. given your question - where to take your scenster niece for the 'biggest and best selection' of those genres of music - there is no answer other than amoeba. when i first moved out here my first visit to amoeba was like a trip to mecca or something. honestly, a spiritual experience.
so yes, your niece will enjoy. i believe berkeley is host to the first amoeba. i've never been there, but i've been to the one in SF as well as the one in LA. I hear a lot of ppl say the SF one is better but come on now. Not true... haha. And, though i could be wrong on this, i think Amoeba LA is the worlds largest record store. Even for movies it's INCREDIBLE. |
