Someone I went to High School with. Heard from a mutual friend a couple years ago that he committed suicide soon after finding out he had the virus.
Tragic. |

God you guys are such s. You can't just talk about AIDS and then leave me out of the conversation.
I didn't know anyone with AIDS up until a few years ago. Of course I always assumed any gay guy over 50 had it. But now it seems like a load of people, especially young guys, are becoming HIV positive. It's on the rise too according to statistics I read. No one views it as a death sentence because it isn't anymore, so people become more careless. People with HIV now are perfectly healthy because they can just pop a pill to make the AIDS go away. But I don't trust that AIDS won't build some resistance and a new fag-killing strain will permeate in the near future. And I don't want to be a casualty.
Anyway, I ask to see PROOF of an HIV negative test before I have sex with a fag because they lie about their status too. I suggest all you homos (and closet homos) out there do the same. |

| I've had plenty of patients with it and know a few people with HIV/AIDS. Kinda like what's already been said, for the most part AIDS is now a chronic disease like diabetes. The analogy isn't exact, but with the proper medications, you can live a fairly regular life with it. By no means would I ever want it, or think it's something to be taken lightly, but it's not a death sentence anymore. |
