Just got home and ready to pass out. Victor Caderone was great as usual and he played a very energetic set. Like Burak said, he was dropping tech bombs all over the place and definitely had the crowd going.
It was also nice chillin with the TAs tonight (Burak,Andrew,Gerard). See you guys at future parties ;-)
i wasn't a big fan of long lines for the ferry, and all the unnecessary lines at entrance. Why not accept E-tickets and make people go to will call?

the organization of this event was epic fail, between the start time of the party that kept getting delayed, the boats coming late, to the lines to get in when you already have a ticket you have to wait on another line to get a differnt ticket :conf:
the music made up for it tho, probly the best set from calderone i heard all year he was straight up banging it the out, at times it was like 135 bpm ha ha straight up murder
the heat was a lil too much, i think everyone and their mother was on the line to get a beer at some points threwout the night
also kinda sucks you couldnt see the fireworks :whip:
overall the vibe,people,music was great and glad i went
good meeting you xpander and your friends deff cool peeps and cant wait to see you guys out again also

I was not at this event, but Victor does it every time. A few months ago, I only listened to trance.... nothing else.... But recently, I have been into the house/tech house/minimal style, and wonder why I never liked it to begin with

i mean these days you can rarely catch a bad set from him imo but there have been a few nights i wassent blown away or his set was just blahh
but when he is on....there are very few dj's who can keep up with him

Yeah, organization was definitely FAIL. I hope the the September 6th show is not at Governors Island or the situation is improved. I had to wait almost 90 minutes to get to the venue which was 5 minutes away.
This was my second time hearing Calderone and he definitely upped his game. He had the crowd going, the buildips were amazing and kept the energy so high the entire night. The $5 water bottles was ridicilous but what can you expect? I was at the line to get a beer and some guy offered me $20 to get him a bottle of water ;-)
