dunno why i never noticed it but is it just me or are they both based on very similar melodies? was 'razorfish' sampling from the 2nd half of 'invisible'? please help, i'd like to kno as it's kind of unsettling to realize one of ur favorite songs (razorfish in this case) may be taking directly from another song....

Yeah, the melodies are pretty much the same, but that doesn't automatically mean someone "ripped off" someone else. With thousands of songs being produced every year it's not uncommon for two or more producers to end up with a smiilar main lead. It's happened before and it'll continue to happen in the future. Sure, there are some who blatantly steal others' work but when it comes to high-quality producers I think we must have faith in their professional integrity. Besides, songs are more than just melody -- Invisible and Razorfish sound completely different when you keep that in mind. :)

oh neat i just noticed that :)

some producers do copy each other its no surprise.

LOL, if AvB remix of VdM- Shamu can sound similar to S&G's The Beauty of Silence as much as it does, plus if Syntone - C'est Syntone can be as similar as it is to Veracocha - Carte Blanche, everything is possible!

There was a track at Armin's set at Club O from 18/3/2000, I think it's called Insigma - Insigma.. It is even more similar to Razorfish

hehe yea, i guess i shouldn't be as surprised as i was. both are still rockin' tracks anyway. :) thanks for the help and i'm gonna go check out that syntone song; i thot the only song similar in style (not necessarily melody) to veracocha was armin's communication
