damn adultnapper is only at night - may have to do the night thing- or maybe both since I been craving some daytime hijinks.
I played techno and some house at my BBQ all day- my guests couldnt appreciate it that much but I still had there ears bleeding by the end of the day- more reason to party with fellow music lovers during the day. They say they didnt love it but still saw them moving and tapping there feet lol. |

i just noticed this...andrew vogt will also be at night!! hes awesome- seen him open up for magda and was quite impressed. then magda killed the vibe andrew had built up lol |

The sound system was giving her problems if you mean the party at North 8. They were having real issues with the heat that night. I don't know if you caught them removing one of the fans in the main room, but I saw that they had it in a side room off the hallway to the exit blowing right on sound equipment.
That said, Andrew does a great job opening. |

I've been to quite a few. They're a little more mainstream, though not much. Look at the DJs that they usually get, that should tell you what you need to know. Don't expect to get away with the same things you might be able to at some of the other Brooklyn parties, though.
Also, the Rivington Hotel is expensive (based on a non-Verboten party that was on the Rooftop for two other big DJs). $10 Amstels and $15 top shelfs hit me by surprise. I can't say it's going to be the same for this party, since it's a different promoter, but the last time I was there, that's what it was. Guessing the 2nd party will be cheaper since the Rivington's trendy. |

yeaa i know it was the sound system bc that was a piece of crap, LITERALLY!!! yes i did notice them moving the fan. i was wondering where it was going at first and when i was exiting after magdas set n (i forgot who came on afterwards, memek i think? he tweaked it up a bit) notice that the fan was blowing on the equipment in that tiny closet. regardless, andrew & memek (correct me if im wrong) both worked with it...it was just magda with her minimalism that couldnt work with it |
