BTW Roger Ebert doesn't dismiss movies without having watched them, which is the difference between Roger Ebert and our Canadian friend. |

Roger Ebert also doesn't blindly assume that people haven't seen many movies. |

So? That just means that every American beer he has consumed has been less than enjoyable. That's personal taste, not arrogance.
Tell that to his taste buds.
"Finest beers" is a personal taste, once again. I don't know how you could possibly be this ing retarded. |
I don't khow how you could possibly be this ing retarded to take this personal taste point this far. You clearly lost your way about three posts ago. |

He came across as one of those ultra patriotic Canadian nationalists who hates everything American, while seemingly unaware that he lives in a country that's entirely dominated by America and has no culture of its own. |

I'm going to make this the second time that someone has mentioned "pot/kettle" to you. |

The difference being that I don't look down on people that don't share my opinion. My "shut your filthy whore mouth" comment was said in jest. I respect others opinions, whether they love PBR, Heineken, some absolutely obscure Australian beer or even dog piss. You, on the other hand, seem to think that people are wrong and look down on them if they don't share the same line of taste/opinions as you. |

It's almost as if you haven't read a single post in this thread.
All I have said is that German beers are not regarded to be great beers, and that is a view shared by experts of beer.
I do not honestly care if someone wants to drink Bud Light all day and thinks of beer only as an alcohol delivery system.
What I do care about is people totally ignorant of beer making comments on subjects they don't understand, and that has nothing to do with personal taste. |

You say that without a hint of irony, which makes it all the more tragic. |
