:stongue:
Actually, the book is quite good. I got emotional because it said something about children being innocent and giving the readers a rather pathetic example :p

Book might indeed be good, but children are certainly not innocent! Everyone that ever went to a schoolyard wearing a sweater vest knows that.
See, that's why I've only read about 5 non-fiction books in my life. They're all bollocks! :toothless |

I think I only skipped a night of sleep twice. Once as a teenager, we were travelling and the plane was early morning so we decided to be goofy all night long instead of sleeping. The next day everyone on the trip was having fun except for me, was totally ing exhausted. :sadgreen:
The other time was 2 years ago in the summer, I had a massive headache of sinusitis all night long and couldn't sleep.
So that would be about 40 hours in both occasions? |

Apart from teaching Lira that Lord of the Flies is the best book on child psychology ever here's something on topic:
I think I really can't physically not sleep for longer than about 24 hours. One new years eve we wanted to skip sleep and celebrate into the morning. So i got drunk, sobered up and got drunk again. At about 5 in the morning I went to the toilet... where I was found 3 hours later, sleeping like a baby. Actually, the point of this story is... sorry, I have no idea what the point is, but it involves sleep. |

| I neglected to sleep last night. Work started at 4:00 AM and was torture at first -- the stretch from 4:00 - 5:30 AM seemed to take forever, but weirdly enough I remember practically none of it -- and then as usual I felt better as it got light out and the day went on. Took a nap this afternoon, though, so I am good now. |

Ha, I have gotten drunk, gone to the toilet, and woken up in the bathroom plenty of times.
These days I tend not to get drunk enough that such things happen, though. |

| The longest I've gone without sleep was about 26 hours, I definately cannot withstand losing my sleep. :( By the last 2 hours, I didn't know what was going on, couldn't forumate sentences, and my eyes were extremely dry. :p I'm sucha baby. |
