Originally a standout track on Proton and Silk Music's "Silk Way EP", Embliss and Shoreliners' track "Catching Tides" is now re-released with two brand new remixes. The original mix starts out with a firm background rhythm involving a frisky beat with low pluck notes underneath. The break introduces a batch of lovely strings as well as the easily recognizable theme synth; later in the track more lush melodies are added, including a supporting piano and arpeggio riff. The first remix comes from Siberian producer Oleg Izergin. A strong beat is quickly established, and several sound effects and synths are included in the intro as well. Around the four minute mark, additional synth layers are added to create a breath-taking harmony along with the original theme lead. Finally, Kaspar Kochker from Latvia delivers his take on "Catching Tides". A sidechained pad line creates the foundation for the atmosphere in this remix as well as a groovy pluck lead on top. The piano melody from the original mix also comes into play, but a few new notes have been added as well to enhance the variety of melodies.
